Duronic PLB109M - Well what can i say, absolute bargain would be first, the price of this compared to other TV brackets from well known companyies is beyond belief, it was so cheap, its well made, well worth the £59 i paid for it, in curry s you will be looking at paying well over £150 for this. the amount of fixings that come with it is just out of this world, big screws, small screws. Easy to install, took around 25 mins to fix the bracket to the wall and around 20 mins fiddling with the back of the tv in the fist place. We have a 32 TV and the only place you can see the bracket is from the side and even then its no big problem, we only have a cheap TV but it looks the dogs b s. Delivery time from Duronic was superb,If you have a TV and want it mounting, go for this one, you wont regret it!!!!
Very Strong Duronic PLB109M Brackets with all the functionally - This bracket is great, i have installed my 42 Philips plasma TV and it looks awesome. The functionality allows me to tilt it up and down aswell as swivelling it.The tilt feature is good. Sometimes the sun shines through our large victorian windows, hence a little tilting eliminates this. If we have a lot of guests in the living room where the TV is we can swivel it a little to allow everyone to watch the TVGreat buy, Quality is immense, this is a real heavy duty unit
A beast of a bracket - Very solid, very heavy wall bracket - ideal if you need to have a lot of movement in your TV. However, if you only want to occasionally move your TV from the wall, you will find this way too bulky. On this bracket my 32 Tosh sits so far from the wall when parked it may as well be CRT. One for the pubs I think.
Excellent - I ve got a 40 Sony Bravia LCD and wanted a swivel arm to hold this big LCD (23kg) at 90 degrees to the wall when in use, flush to the wall when not. So, it needed to be strong. In summary, the bracket is a good product and can swivel, tilt, moves well and is strong. In use, I can obtain the ideal watching angle which is amazing! Recommended product - why spend double or triple this amount when bought in store! My experience in fitting my first TV arm to a wall: the back plate of the arm which goes flush with the wall is fairly wide (48cm) though was not wide enough to meet the demands of the wall I wanted to place this product on....upon drilling pilot holes, I found 1 vertical stud, though the next ones, left and right, were 61cm away so I could not place this arm on this wall....So, plan B was to find another wall and I found brick so I drilled 6 holes which only 4 were good. Putting up the arm and even with 4 of the 6 bolts secure, the arm was extremely strong having tested it with enough force. The arm comes with lots of bolts and screws for different walls and different TVs, which was welcome. The set of bolts for my T V which fixes the back of the TV to the swivel unit were tiny (perhaps this was the norm with this VESA type?) so there were only a few revolutions to secure it. I hope this isn t the weak link in the chain. In movement the arm has some tension which is good because you wouldn t want your TV swinging about! It stays where I want it which is tilted slightly down and when in use about 90degrees to the wall, although at 90 degrees the back plate is visible when watching the TV (the plate is black and I have white walls) so I bring the arm forward to hide the back plate. When not in use, I push the arm flush to the wall. Sure, its not flush, but to get a TV flush another solution would be required which would probably mean preparing a big hole in the wall and sitting the arm within it (may be poss?) though I m happy with this product.
